A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE THEORETICAL MODEL OF UNSTABLE FILTRATION

By analyzing the unstable filtration theory in the air filter, it can be deduced that the flow of particles suspended in the air through the filter is eventually the process of transportation, diffusion and capture of them in the multi-porous media, because the theory of filter structure is a part of multi-porous media one. In this paper, based on the multi-porous media model and using the corresponding dynamics theories and methods, the author studies the unstable filtrating process in the air filter. And, during the operation of filter in the unstable state, particles suspended in the filter are not always captured in the filter in the following operation period but vary continuously with such factors as the concentration of particles suspended and the speed of airflow.
