中国三洋将生产家用空调

三洋电气空调公司将在中国生产家用空调，预计在2004年3月完成这个转变过程，其目的在于提高三洋空调在国际市场中的竞争实力。由于这一转变，日本本土公司产品将只包括中型和大型的空调设备，如整体式空调，燃气热泵和吸收式冷水机组，也生产一些智能环保型产品。目前的三洋电器空调公司已经能够设计、制造、销售和维护这些小型商用的和大型的空调设备。同时，由于全球竞赛，日本国内的家用空调市场已经面临着严峻的形式，而物价又持续下跌，正是在这些的环境下，三洋空调公司才制定了增加海外产量份额的策略。在中国的有关三洋子公司中，广东三洋和沈阳三洋将在其直接领导下，奠定公司转向房间空调器生产的基础。 Sanyo to Shift RAC Production to China Sanyo Electric Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. (Sanyo Electric AC) is going to totally shift room air conditioner (RAC) production to China by March 2004, aimed to enhance its cost competitiveness in the global market. Domestic production (Gunma Pref.) will be limited to middle-/large-size air conditioning equipment such as packaged ACs (PACs), GHPs and absorption chillers, and also new products such as "Eco Cute" and "Eco Ice Mini". Since its establishment as a general AC company two years ago, Sanyo Electric AC has been undertaking design, development, manufacture, sales and maintenance of small, commercial and large AC equipment. In the meantime, since the global competition has intensified in the field of RACs, domestic RAC market has been facing a severe situation due to the continuing unit price decreases. Reorganization of Subsidiaries In these circumstances, the company makes it one of important strategies to increase the share of overseas production. Of its affiliated companies in China, Sanyo Electric AC made Shenyang Sanyo AC Co., Ltd. into a subsidiary under its direct control from October. Thus, two subsidiaries, Guangdong Sanyo (fully invested subsidiary) and Shenyang Sanyo are placed under the direct control. Guangdong Sanyo was changed into a fully invested subsidiary in October last year. This reorganization of subsidiaries has "made our operations in China easier than before" (Mr. Y.
