ECONOMIC EVALUATION OF COLD AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

This paper established an economic model to analyze the benefits of cold air distribution system. The cold air distribution system was compared with conventional air conditioning system by combining with an instance of real project to analyze the economic benefits from several aspects including air handling equipments, ducts, and terminal equipments. The comparisons among the original costs, operating costs and other costs were made. The paper analyzed and evaluated economic benefits of the air conditioning system, which consists of cold air distribution system and ice thermal storage system. The economic value of cold air distribution system was shown in the form of quantitative data.
