Investigation on Indoor Air Pollution of Changsha

It is very inseparable correlation between indoor air quality of residences and human’s health. The author investigates Changsha from July in 2003. From the data that measure the homes which have been fitted up in from half a month to four years, the author discoveries that the indoor air pollution is very serious and the disqualification ratio is amount to 98%. And the author also finds that formaldehyde (HCHO) concentration universally exceeding the standard for indoor air environmental and the maximum exceeding multiples is six times. The paper points out those pollutants mainly are emitted from building materials and furniture and it will affect humans’ health if not to take effective method to control it.
