INVESTIGATION AND RESEARCH ON IAQ PROBLEMS IN BEIJING COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS

To understand the present situation of indoor air quality in commercial buildings, physical measurements and questionnaire investigations were carried out in Beijing. Results show that air temperature and humidity should be given more attention, although most of the contaminant concentration standards are not exceeded. The measurement results are reflected in the questionnaire, but there do exist some deviation. As to the design and operation of HVAC systems, unreasonable indoor district separation causes bad fresh air distribution, and air humidification should not be ignored in transition seasons in North China.
