A FAULT DETECTION AND DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM AS A TOOL I

This paper describes a fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) system which is being implemented to a big vocational school .The FDD system utilizes the data collected by the building automation system in monitoring the energy consumptions , indoor conditions ,and control loop performances . When deviations are detected, they are diagnosed with fault-symptom trees . This FDD system guides the building operator in energy efficient building use by helping him locate the causes of undesirable operation.
