东芝SMMS-E产品荣获ACR英国展新闻奖
【中国制冷网】近期,东芝推出的新一代SMMS-E VRF系统获得了它的第二个顶级行业大奖———2016年ACR英国展新闻奖年度最佳空调产品。
评判组认为,东芝SMMS-E的技术创新和系统控制都在这个竞争激烈的行业中处于领先地位,拥有极高的能源利用率和具有优势的用户运行成本控制。它也是目前市场上唯一ESEER(欧洲经季节性调整的能源效率等级)超过7的VRF系统。
东芝SMMS-E VRF系统的核心是一个新型旋转式压缩机,它采用双级压缩过程,以提高系统效率和性能。压缩机叶片表面是一种高科技类金刚石(DLC)材料,具有良好的硬度,耐磨损性和可靠性。这使得压缩机转速显著增加,也促使新一代的VRF系统排量比上一代VRF系统显著提高了50%。压缩机的重新设计和系统控件的改进使得新一代的VRF系统工作的温度范围得到了显著扩展,新型VRF系统在制冷模式下运行的温度范围是-5℃~46℃,在制热模式下运行的温度范围是-25℃~15.5℃。

Toshiba’s VRF lands second major industry award

Toshiba’s SMMS-e VRF system has won its second top industry award this year, being crowned Air Conditioning Product of the Year at the recent ACR News Awards 2016.
The company was presented with the award at a glittering event held alongside the ACR Show at the NEC, after SMMS-e came out top in the keenly fought category.
The judges said that a host of innovations in technology and controls put the system ahead in this highly competitive sector, delivering unrivalled energy efficiency and reducing running costs for end users. It is the only VRF in the market with all outdoor units exceeding 7 ESEER (European Seasonally Adjusted Energy Efficiency Rating).
Toshiba director and general manager, David Dunn, said: “We are delighted that SMMS-e has again been recognised for its outstanding technology and performance. This second independent endorsement serves to underline the excellence of the product and its role in contributing to the challenge facing the industry to save energy and reduce carbon emissions.”
Innovations in three core technologies - the compressor, heat exchanger and advanced intelligent control - combine to deliver outstanding efficiency and comfort for building occupants.
A new rotary compressor, developed and manufactured by Toshiba, uses a two-stage compression process for improved efficiency and performance. Wear surfaces on compression vanes are treated with a high-tech Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, giving outstanding hardness, wear resistance and reliability.
It enables a significant increase in compressor rotation speed, resulting in a higher displacement volume - up to 50 per cent greater than for the previous generation of VRF systems. The enables a higher duty to be obtained from a smaller compressor, with less power.
David Dunn says: “We are thrilled with the recognition for SMMS-e, however we will not be resting on our laurels. Our forthcoming SHRM-e VRF, to be launched later this year, will build on the success of the SMMS-e, and feature further innovations in technology that will contribute to even higher efficiencies and ease of installation and servicing.”
